In these difficult economic times we are challenged more than ever to rely on the success of our fundraising efforts.  We rely on school and parish families as well as local corporate sponsors to achieve the financial outcome that will enable us to reach our goals. 

On October  16th, St. Francis Xavier School and Cardoza's Wine & Spirits, held a fundraiser at Cafe Funchal to benefit St. Francis Xavier School.  Our 1st Annual Wine Tasting Event with the expertise of our committee members, Donald Pelletier, JoAnn Richard, Karen Pimentel, April Amaral, Marina Araujo, Nicole Arruda, Anita Tavares, Joe Pereira, and the many volunteers, especially those members of the PTO, our  "Raise A  Glass For The Children"  was a huge success. 

Special thanks to "Distinction" for volunteering and sharing their special music and talents with us and to David Arruda and Marlene Kalisz for hosting this event.
